You move by using the numeric key pad. "5"
will cause the Doctor to stand still for one turn, and diagonal moves are allowed.
Pressing "S" will activate the Sonic
Screwdriver. This device will kill all Daleks adjacent to you, but you will receive no
score for destroying Daleks with the Sonic Screwdriver.
"T" will cause you to teleport to a random
part of the screen.
"L" will cause the Doctor to make the last
stand. The Doctor will stop moving, and the Daleks will keep moving until all the
Daleks or you are dead.

As you progress through the levels, you will encounter more types of daleks:
You will regenerate if you get too old or if you are too wounded (but not enough to die). You
have 12 regenerations before your life runs out.
to acquire more sonic screwdrivers.
if you are wounded or near
regenerating.
The red daleks
are the standard worker daleks. Nothing up their sleeve (no sleeves to be up).
The blue daleks
,
if two are conversing in a conspiratorial whisper, are likely opening up a
time corridor
to bring in another dalek.
The grey daleks
will often lay mines
that will damage you if you touch them.
The gold daleks
will only be stunned by your sonic screwdriver.
The black daleks
will avoid rubble piles. Devious bastards!
On certain levels, you may encounter a dalek concentration camp, where there will be captives
. You can free them if you can get to them, but don't
wait too long...
Note:
If the program does not respond to the key strokes, click on the Daleks
screen. This causes the "Keyboard Focus" to be put on the applet, which means it will
listen to your keys.
This game is still being worked on. Everything appears to work properly (for the most part), but
if you manage to make it to level 25, you may encounter problems or oddities. Hopefully, these
will be rectified soon.
